I grew up in Ramsey, Minnesota and went to Anoka High School. While in high school I was a part of the second ever class of STEAM (STEM + Art) students to graduate. The teacher who was leading the program at the time is who got me in contact with the Physics department at Hamline.

My major is Physics With an Emphasis in Engineering. I first looked at Hamline as a cross country & track recruit, and a later visit to see what the Physics department had to offer confirmed for me that Hamline was where I wanted to go. My time at Hamline has led to opportunities in research as well as an internship done through the University of Minnesota this past Summer.

• Get back to learning Spanish to become fluent.

• Every Summer I go to the Boundary Waters for a week with my friends from Anoka.
• I played bass guitar and won the SAAC talent show in an all track band.
• I once skied around Giants Ridge in twenty below weather.
